How our tutors are selected
Our tutors are high-achieving graduates from leading universities, many of whom earned top ATARs, raw study scores, and selective or medical school placements themselves. But academic success alone isn’t enough. We look for clarity of thinking, strong communication, and the ability to explain complex ideas simply and precisely.
Once selected, tutors are put through the Contour Tutor Academy (CTA) - our structured, data-led approach to tutoring that ensures students don’t just learn content, but build the habits, techniques, and confidence required to perform under pressure.
