Area of Study
Modulus, Sequences and Series
You'll begin with two topics that sharpen your algebraic fluency. Working through modulus equations and inequalities and partial fractions, you'll then move into sequences and series, including arithmetic and geometric sequences derived from recurrence relations. Each topic is paired with a dedicated exam skills session.
Area of Study
Proofs, Logic and Algorithms
This module develops your capacity for rigorous mathematical reasoning. You'll cover number sets, direct and indirect proofs, propositional logic, and an introduction to algorithms and pseudocode. By the end, you'll be able to construct and evaluate formal mathematical proofs and write and interpret basic algorithms. Includes a dedicated exam skills session.
Area of Study
Trigonometry
A thorough treatment of trigonometry from foundational to advanced. You'll cover the sine and cosine rules, area of triangles, trigonometric identities, exact values of reciprocal functions, and advanced circular functions. By the end, you'll be able to solve problems involving non-right-angled triangles and apply trigonometric identities to simplify and solve equations. Includes exam skills sessions throughout.
Area of Study
Matrices, Transformations, Combinatorics and Graph Theory
Two connected modules in one. You'll cover matrix operations and linear transformations before moving into combinatorics and graph theory. Topics include permutations, combinations, Pascal's triangle, and the fundamentals of graph theory including vertices, edges, and adjacency matrices. By the end, you'll be able to apply matrices to transformation problems and use counting techniques to solve complex combinatorial problems.
Area of Study
Vectors, Kinematics and Complex Numbers
This module brings together three important areas. You'll develop vector skills from the basics through vector equations of lines, then apply vectors to kinematics problems. You'll also introduce complex numbers, working with polar and rectangular forms, polynomial solutions over the complex set, and complex subsets. Includes exam skills sessions for each topic.
Revision & Preview
Reciprocal Functions, Revision and Specialist 3 and 4 Preview
The final module consolidates your Unit 1 and 2 knowledge while previewing what is ahead. You'll cover reciprocal functions, locus and polar coordinates, and parametric equations before working through structured revision of Proof, Circular Functions, Complex Numbers, Complex Subsets, and Vectors. The module closes with preview sessions for key Specialist 3 and 4 topics including vector equations, differentiation and integration, and differential equations.

Maths has a reputation for being dry, intimidating, and hard to love - and I've made it my mission to change that.
