Nobody trains for the one part of the application that's weighted like your ATAR.
At UQ the interview is half your application. At Monash and UNSW it's a third - the same as your entire ATAR. Strong academics get you the interview; they don't get you through it.
A higher score doesn't guarantee an offer
A one-hour interview can be worth as much as your entire ATAR or UCAT. Almost everyone takes the ATAR and UCAT seriously. Interviews are the part that gets overlooked and can be the difference between securing an offer or missing out.

Practice isn't the same as preparation
Grinding repetitive questions with friends or parents feels productive, but the feedback you get back - "reduce your ums and ahs," "be more confident" - doesn't actually tell you what to fix.
- Repetitive questions, no real structure
- Generic feedback from friends or parents
- No idea what interviewers are actually scoring
- Near-identical practice stations to the real interview
- Personalised expert feedback, every day
- Taught by tutors who recently sat this exact interview
Every student has traits that make them attractive to medical and dental schools. Most don't know what theirs are, or can't demonstrate them under pressure. Our approach is about recognising what's genuinely strong about you, and teaching you to present it with real structure, content and delivery, rather than pre-packaged answers or drilled scripts.

One longer conversation with 2–3 interviewers, moving through several themes, usually around 30 minutes.
Commonly used at UNSW, JCU.
A skills-based station circuit, usually 8 stations of around 8 minutes.

Ramodh Jayasinghe
Having been through Medicine entry, I’ve seen first-hand how it’s often over-complicated and misunderstood as a daunting and complex process, which requires hours of daily preparation to even stand a chance of getting in.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
During the program, we'll focus on these exact high-yield methods of UCAT and medical interview preparation.
Through engaging tutoring and personalised support, I'll make it my goal to give you (or your son/daughter) a clear pathway on how to prepare for your university entrance journey.
Together we’ll maximise your chances at getting into medicine.
The tutors
Every tutor you see here has been carefully selected, trained, and supported to deliver at a consistently high standard.

Program Basics
How is this different from generic interview prep?
Most courses are content delivery, where you attend some sessions, get a workbook, and the rest is up to you. The content is usually fine, but content isn't what's being scored. Interviewers are assessing how you think under time pressure, how clearly you structure an answer, and whether you sound like someone they'd want as a colleague.
You don't get better at that by reading about it, you get better by doing it, being told what to fix, and doing it again. So we've built the program around repetition with correction: frameworks at the Workshop Weekend, daily practice with a tutor watching, a feedback video every day, then full mocks under pressure.
It also helps that we're current medical and dental students who sat these interviews recently and remember what it felt like to prepare.
Who teaches the program?
Ramodh Jayasinghe, Co-Founder and Head of Contour MedPrep, teaches all 17 hours of the Workshop Weekend himself. He's a final year medical student at Monash with a 3470 UCAT and a 99.95 ATAR, and he designed the program.
Your mocks, one on one sessions and daily practice are run by current medical and dental students who recently sat these interviews. Every tutor goes through a multi stage selection process and is trained on our frameworks before they take any students.
When can I join the program?
Enrolments open at the launch webinar on Sunday 20 September, and the waitlist is how you access our exclusive early bird window.
Spots are strictly limited, because every student gets 3 one-on-one mocks, an hour of one-on-one tutoring and a personalised feedback video every day, so there's a limit on how many students we can take before we run out of spots.
What happens after I join the waitlist?
You'll start receiving Ramodh's email series in the lead up to the interviews, covering free practice resources, the 6 most common mistakes to avoid, interview structures that work every time, and how to turn generic content into authentic responses.
You'll also get your invitation to the launch webinar on Sunday 20 September, where enrolments open. Once you enrol, you'll get a welcome email with your Kick-Off Form, where you choose your Workshop Weekend, tell us your target universities and book your Baseline Mock.
The Launch Webinar
When is the launch webinar?
Sunday 20 September, 6:00 to 8:00PM AEST, which is 5:30PM in SA and NT and 4:00PM in WA. Ramodh presents it live.
Do I need to register?
You just need to join the waitlist using the button and form above! Everyone on the waitlist is invited, so joining the waitlist is all you need to do. We'll send you the link and the reminders.
What's covered?
The first hour is an introduction to medical and dental entry interviews, covering the formats, how universities use the interview result, and how to prepare for each of the skills being assessed.
Ramodh then runs through the Contour Interview Program and everything included in it, and the final half hour is an open Q&A where you can ask him anything.
What if I can't make it live?
Just join the waitlist and we'll send you the recording after the webinar, so you won't miss anything. It's worth attending live if you can, since the Q&A is only live and it's usually the most useful part for students deciding what to do next.
What's Included
What do I get in the program?
Everything below sits in the one program:
- The 17 hour live Workshop Weekend, taught by Ramodh, fully recorded
- 3 x one on one mock interviews, with - 8+ page written feedback reports (1.5 hours for MMI, 1 hour for Panel)
- 1 hour of personalised one on one tutoring
- 10 workbooks, 200+ pages
- 7 university specific overview recordings, 1.5 hours each, with companion workbooks
- The All Day Practice Room, 10am to 10pm AEDT daily, with a tutor present every hour
- 2 x 30 minute Q&A drop ins daily, 12:00 to 12:30pm and 9:30 to 10:00pm AEDT
- 1,000+ practice stations, each with a scenario, an answer guide, an online simulation and a model response
- 1,000+ model response videos
- Daily personalised video feedback, a 5 minute tutor response every day
- Your Learning Portal and Practice Portal
That's three full mock interviews with written reports, 17 hours of live teaching, an hour of personalised tutoring, and three months of daily access to a tutor staffed practice room with unlimited practice material.
How much does it cost?
Ramodh shares the full pricing and everything included at the launch webinar on Sunday 20 September, 6:00 to 8:00PM AEST.
What we can tell you now is that it's one all-inclusive program at a single price, covering every format and every university we prepare students for. Join the waitlist and you'll be invited automatically.
Scheduling and Timing
When does everything run?
- Baseline Mock MMI: Right before your Workshop Weekend.
- Workshop Weekend: choose 17 to 18 October or 14 to 15 November
- Learning Portal and Practice Portal open: Saturday 17 October
- Practice room, Q&A drop ins and daily video feedback start: Monday 19 October
- Everything runs until Monday 18 January 2027
What if I can't make it live?
Just join the waitlist and we'll send you the recording after the webinar, so you won't miss anything. It's worth attending live if you can, since the Q&A is only live and it's usually the most useful part for students deciding what to do next.
Which Workshop Weekend should I pick?
Both weekends teach identical content and you get both recordings either way, so pick whichever suits your term.
17 to 18 October works well if you want the longest runway, have earlier interviews, aren't sitting Year 12 exams, or have plans in November. 14 to 15 November suits most Year 12 students since it lands after ATAR exams, and you've still got two full months of practice, mocks and feedback afterwards.
Resources and Support
What support do I get?
There's a tutor in the practice room every hour it's open, 10am to 10pm daily, two Q&A drop ins every day where you can ask anything without an appointment, and a personalised feedback video every day. On top of that you've got your included hour of one on one tutoring, plus a tutor's full attention for the length of each mock interview.
How do the one on one sessions work?
You pick your tutor, book an hour, and set the agenda yourself. Students use them for mock debriefs, drilling a station type that keeps going badly, brainstorming content, watching their tutor respond to a station, preparing for a specific university, working on their delivery, or a full extra mock.
Your first hour is included, and additional sessions can be booked at any time, with the option to keep rebooking the same tutor.
Getting Started
How do I join?
Join the waitlist using the button and form above. It's free, and it does two things: it sends you Ramodh's email series with free practice resources and preparation strategies, and it gets you an automatic invitation to the launch webinar on Sunday 20 September.
Enrolments open at that webinar, and waitlist students hear first. Spots are limited, so being on the list is the safest way to make sure you get one.
